How can i finish quilted maple veneer?

i'm building cabinets.the frames and door borders are oak with red die than dark gel stain than shallec and finished off with high gloss poly so its dark stain with red undertones.the panels are veneered with quilted maple veneer.the problem im having is i cant seem to find a finish for the veneer that shows the depth of the veneer and still matches the oak framing.i really want to bring the depth out of the quilted maple
