Whats the mechanism for complaining about a teacher and possibly having them removed/fired from school?

They can't just fire a teacher. I am currently waiting for a teaching position, and as far as I know, teachers don't get fired just like that. They rely on several factors of dis-approvals or complaints from parents to completely remove a teacher from his position.
