Why don't a lot of young girls wear tights?

i agree with you but i think it kind of comes down to casualty and practicallity. with legging you don't have to worry so much about snags or tears. and also because of that they are less dressy you can do things better in them. many girls also probably find them more comfortable. i understand why leggings are more popular but i prefer tights myself.
