Which way do you wear your high cl ring?

i am a sopre in high school and i wear my ring with the mascot (redskin head) and year (2010) toward me so when i am bored i read the school's name which is facing toward me and the mascot in facing toward me but kids at my school say when you graduate you were it that way but for now it should face out (toward my pinky). how do i wear it toward my middle finger (in) or toward my pinky finger (out). thx
