MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY HELPPPP!!!! PLEASE!!!!?

ok i like this guy. we're in 8th grade and the 1st day of school was today. i only talked 2 him once today and that was 2 ask where my homeroom was. then i didnt talk to him the whole rest of the day. we arent really friends, so i cant just go up to him and talk. he was in my homeroom last year so we talked then but now he isnt in any of my cles. the only way i would be able to see him is if i try out (and of course get into) a singing group called sounds of tomorrow in my school...but the tryouts arent until late september to early october and i dont really wanna wait that long to talk to him. is there something i could say 2 him that isnt obvious that i like him? (we havent talked since last yr...sooo.....)
