I want to improve my vocabulary by reading more, but I don't want to feel like I'm studying?

I don't want to keep pulling out the dictionary every minute. It discourages me from reading. Is there a more fun way to broaden my vocabulary? If I just keep reading, eventually will I begin to understand new words as I seem them reappearing or will I still need to look them up?
